In October, I began to be inspired by some of the leaders in content creation and marketing. To name a few such as Gary Vaynerchuk, Neil Patel, and even Grant Cardone.
All three of these individuals had something very in common. It wasn't the wealth, following, or even the content they posted.
It was the simple act of getting themselves out there.
Everyday we are inundated by our daily tasks, work, life, and so on. I find myself getting swung in deep to the mundane daily schedule and lose motivation from time to time to stay hungry and focused.
So in October I decided to conduct an experiment.
Does creating content and marketing the content I create generate and inspire my network to grow?
At first the gains were very very small. We are talking like 2-3 new visits to my website and a few views on LinkedIn. However, as the weeks progressed so did the traffic.
FYI none of my posts have yet gone viral, but progress and growth must be acknowledged to maintain your personal motivation.
There is no such thing as overnight success but the results and power of content creation led to amazing result after just one month of this process.
As you can see the visitors definitely started flowing. Which at this point is a small "win" to keep moving forward a grow both my personal brand and online resource of insights.
As I was continuing to posts a few other huge wins came out of the development and consistency in posting this content to my existing channels.
Here is the process that I've began to shape to continue my content development journey.
The journey has definitely just begun. I couldn't be more thankful that I've been given a platform to be inspired by and grow with.
If it weren't for Facebook, LinkedIn, and the new connections I've made in Charlotte NC, there wouldn't have been the opportunity to expand and start my own digital marketing business.
You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.
